Mums Jeans

I have been sent a pair of jeans from a lady whose best friend has recently past away. Her best friend has a daughter and has requested that I make a bag out of her mums jeans. What a privilege to be able to do this and provide a small but meaningful memory for someone that has lost her mum, it brings tears to my eyes still as this is a thought that I cannot fathom, my mum is my best friend and of course very dear to me, a beautiful mother daughter relationship, one in which I so wish to duplicate with my 2 baby girls. But in life, these opportunities are taken away and to be able to create a keepsake for this daughter was a lovely part of my obsession with denim.
